See anything Unusual? At Island Grill

This is a mural at the Island Grill in Frisco. It is a very colorful interpretation of Lake Dillon with Salt water fish, a jumping dolphin, and something else that really stood out to me. Can you see it?

Pinterest Recipe Attempt- Sweet and Spicy Asian Cucumber Salad

I have to say, although my recipe didn't turn out looking like the picture, it was delicious.

Chili with Lentils at the Races

 This past weekend we went to the motocross races at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, CO. GO DUNGEY! Kevin and I have been going for the last three years, and its always really fun. This year, I had to come a day later because I had class Friday night, so I decided to make some chili for the trip. I had been craving lentils, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to use them. And it turned out really good!!! This doesn't happen to often, and Kevin liked it... which nearly never happens. LOL But it could have been because he was eating only hot dogs for the past two days.

Ingredients for Chili:

Laura's lean ground beef

onion

mushrooms

corn

can tomatoes

lentils

Kidney beans

chili powder

chicken bullion cube

2 bay leaves

salt 

pepper

Water

4th of July!

The evening before the 4th of July. Kevin and I and Nick and Mamie had a delicious dinner at Steak and Rib in Breckenridge. Steak and Rib is Nick and Mamies favorite restaurant in Breck.

Homecoming

Last night was the homecoming dance. I had no intentions of going until I was in target with my friend Saling and I found the most amazing black leggings. From there, we decided we would attend.

We went our separate ways and got ready to go dancing. It was quite the walk up to the University Center in my heals.... so I took them off. It was raining out, needless to say my feet were not warm... or clean.

Saling is also and excellent pianist, and a music major.
